Tarrant Appraisal District Introduces New Online Homestead Application

Fort Worth, Texas (February 11, 2025) - The Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) is pleased to announce the launch of its new Homestead application, designed to streamline the application process and provide faster service and approval for taxpayers. As part of this update, TAD has also introduced new dashboard functionality, allowing property owners to easily check their exemption status.

Applicants can access the new online Homestead application through the following link:New Online Homestead Application.

With the transition to this new system, the previous online Homestead application will no longer be available. However, the downloadable version will remain accessible. We encourage applicants to take advantage of the new system as soon as possible to ensure a seamless experience.

This initiative is part of TAD’s ongoing efforts to enhance services and identify individuals who qualify for a Homestead exemption but have not yet claimed it. By leveraging this technology in partnership with TrueRoll, TAD aims to improve accessibility and efficiency in the application process.
